Harper's Alice in Wonderland Cake Smash

I had the pleasure of photographing Harper's 1st year and BOY has she grown fast. It's hard to believe she is turning 1 in a week. When Harper's mom messaged me saying that she wanted an Alice in wonderland theme cake smash, I was super excited. My creative side was yearning for a colorful/fun cake smash set and this theme was perfect.

The day of the shoot, Harper arrived to the studio picture perfect in her adorable white dress. She was super smiley at the beginning of the shoot with the floral hoop set. After that, we moved onto the Alice in wonderland set. For this set, Harper donned multiple outfits; a beautiful pink dress, a handmade tutu dress and skirt made by her mom. Now onto my favorite part of every 1st birthday session: The CAKE! Harper's cake was made by http://www.lizzieslittlecakes.com. It was one of the most beautiful cakes I have ever seen. Harper's favorite part of the whole cake was the fondant handles. Harper even tried to share with me!
